Messages for the TAIRA mailing list should be sent in plain text format to taira@eve.bk.tsukuba.ac.jp

• This is a friendly mailing list designed to help information exchange. DO NOT send flame mail either to individuals or to the list. See the Posting Rules.
  
• Posts to TAIRA must be sent with one of the following category codes (complete with the square brackets) in the subject line:
  • [info] for general information
  • [event] for event announcement
  • [help] for requesting information or advice
  • [sale] for buying & selling used items
  • [sci] for scientific discussion
• If you are putting a question to the list, first check the archives using the search function on the TAIRA Posts Archive page to see if your question hasn't already been answered. (The discussion forum Livetalk also has a good collection of links.)
• Commercial advertisements must not be posted directly on the list but must first be placed on the Taira Ads page from the advertisement entry page. The content will be forwarded periodically to the TAIRA mailing list.
• Only registered members can post messages. You can sign up here. You need to be receiving TAIRA posts in the mail in order to post on TAIRA.
